I dare say that up to this point, my Yahoo readers may not be getting the full impact that we, the SEO Social Networking by Veretekk are working towards. Most people seem to think that simply having a face page site, is the key to their online presence. I am a believer in working at home. Obviously, my track record of seven years speaks highly for my belief that people can achieve their dreams and goals if they consistently put forth the effort and dedication to achieve a better quality of life than having a traditional day job. Of course, many who enter the hallowed halls of the work at home industry will fall short of their intended goals. I have been down that road as well. Not every business venture that I have started has turned out positively. Remembering back to the early years of working at home, I used to sit and watch as what I thought were the gurus of marketing were making huge amounts of money. I visualized myself doing the same thing. I began to realize that all the information that I was reading on Google was not true, or to some degree, held little truth to it. It is apparent to me, at this stage of development in my work at home business that most information we try to decipher online is nothing but people out there, all in the same boat, trying to fake it, until they make it. I am sure that you will find the same thing to be true.

If you really believe that people in the work at home industry are getting filthy rich by staying and working at home, then you Google reader, are full of fantasy. I personally know, and work with, some of the top rated work at home entrepreneurs in this industry. They are NOT getting rich, but they ARE making a good living for themselves and their families. I also know for a fact that finding a good stable work at home business model to follow, is one of the most important things for you to consider when thinking about starting any type of work at home business on the Internet.

Whether you are aware of it or not, there are people on Google that are making a living by building and growing a work at home business. I am consistently in forward motion when it comes to promoting, writing and talking about my business. For myself, the Internet on Google is a love hate relationship. I love the aspect of being able to make money from my work at home business. In today's work at home article, I wanted to cover more in depth, the different methods used to build a work at home business. Of course, there are other ways to accomplish this, but I feel that covering MLM, Network Marketing and Affiliate Marketing are probably the most widely used ways to build a strong business on Google.

MLM

Multi-level marketing (MLM), (also called network marketing, direct selling, and referral marketing, is a term that describes a marketing structure used by some companies as part of their overall marketing strategy. The structure is designed to create a marketing and sales force by compensating promoters of company products not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of other promoters they introduce to the company, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation.

The products and company are usually marketed directly to consumers and potential business partners by means of relationship referrals and word of mouth marketing.

MLM companies have been a frequent subject of controversy as well as the target of lawsuits. Criticism has focused on their similarity to illegal pyramid schemes, price-fixing of products, high initial start-up costs, emphasis on recruitment of lower-tiered salespeople over actual sales, encouraging if not requiring salespeople to purchase and use the company's products, potential exploitation of personal relationships which are used as new sales and recruiting targets, complex and sometimes exaggerated compensation schemes, and cult like techniques which some groups use to enhance their members' enthusiasm and devotion. Not all MLM companies operate the same way, and MLM groups have persistently denied that their techniques are anything but legitimate business practices.

The essence of MLM, or a pyramid business, is in fact, really legitimate. If you look at the most powerful country in the world, the USA, this is built directly on a pyramid scale. The problem with MLM is the fact that over zealous liars become involved, and many people will lose their money by becoming associated with these types of organizations. This is not to say that MLM is bad, but there are definitely bad people on Google that will separate you, from your hard earned cash at the drop of a hat. Simply because someone does not know how to make money with an MLM work at home business, that is no reason to condemn the whole industry.

Network Marketing

Very simple to MLM work at home is the network marketing business. Independent, unsalaried salespeople of multi-level marketing, referred to as distributors (or associates, independent business owners, dealers, franchise owners, sales consultants, consultants, independent agents, represent the company that produces the products or provides the services they sell. They are awarded a commission based upon the volume of product sold through their own sales efforts as well as that of their downline organization.

Independent distributors develop their organizations by either building an active customer base, who buy direct from the company, or by recruiting a downline of independent distributors who also build a customer base, thereby expanding the overall organization. Additionally, distributors can also earn a profit by retailing products they purchased from the company at wholesale price.

This arrangement of distributors earning a commission based on the sales of their independent efforts as well as the leveraged sales efforts of their downline is similar to franchise arrangements where royalties are paid from the sales of individual franchise operations to the franchiser as well as to an area or regional manager. Commissions are paid to multilevel marketing distributors according to the company's compensation plan. There can be individuals at multiple levels of the structure receiving royalties from a single person's sales.

Here again, network marketing is a great way to build a work at home business. As a matter of fact, my choice of network marketing is called TriVita. Here, I refer others to the program, help them to begin to earn money, and the process goes along. I have been involved with TriVita for years, and I feel that it is indeed a good business.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's marketing efforts. Examples include rewards sites, where users are rewarded with cash or gifts, for the completion of an offer, and the referral of others to the site. The industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the network, the publisher also known as the affiliate, and the customer. The market has grown in complexity to warrant a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, super affiliates and specialized third parties vendors.

Affiliate marketing overlaps with other Internet marketing methods to some degree, because affiliates often use regular advertising methods. Those methods include organic search engine optimization, paid search engine marketing, e-mail marketing, and in some sense display advertising. On the other hand, affiliates sometimes use less orthodox techniques, such as publishing reviews of products or services offered by a partner.

Affiliate marketingusing one website to drive traffic to anotheris a form of online marketing, which is frequently overlooked by advertisers.[1] While search engines, e-mail, and website syndication capture much of the attention of online retailers, affiliate marketing carries a much lower profile. Still, affiliates continue to play a significant role in e-retailers' marketing strategies. Affiliate marketing plays into the over aspects of creating a work at home business that pays off.

No matter what manner you use to build a work at home business, MLM, Network Marketing or Affiliate Marketing, the promoting process is the same. Getting site visitors to your information, or search engine optimization, is the key to driving motivated visitors to your site.

Cross Recruiting

In today's work at home article, I am going to dig deep into the mysterious world of cross recruiting. If you have not yet been exposed to cross recruiting, and have been involved in a work at home MLM or network marketing business of some sort, then you will sure feel this exposure to another MLM deal just as surely as the sun comes up in the morning. You will probably be asked, at some point, to join your powerful upline sponsor, in yet another money making work at home scheme. I have to ask myself if this is the right, or the wrong approach when building an online business? If your business is growing, and if you are making some good money, then why in the world would you take a chance, and lose that, just for the simple fact that your greed overtook your logic?

I am not sure if you are familiar with the term MLM junkie. This is a person who gets so wrapped up in pitching deals, that he or she really does not care whether they jeopardize their current standing with their work at home business. They are so totally over ridden by the pitch for the next latest and greatest deal, that they soon forget the good business plan that they have going. Most assuredly, I can only think that either greed, or hopeless addiction to the next gig, is driving their entire focus.

You, yes you faithful Google reader, have been reading my articles. I know this for a fact as I am tracking the hits of each of these of determine if I am doing a good job, getting visitors to my work at home site, and the people that are visiting are receiving some good information. I also know for a fact, that you, at some point, are going to fill out my contact form, or at the very least, are going to steal my content, and place it on your own site. Either way is fine, and I am totally aware that each and every time that I write a work at home article, they are receiving good notoriety and presence on Google.

Within these articles I have writing about TriVita, work at home, and how to create a substantial work at home business by using specific techniques and strategies of search engine optimization. Finally, you will also understand that I do not pitch deals. I only use educational marketing and presentations to build my work at home business. These strategies work, as is clearly known because my TriVita business grows each and every week, and will continue to do so for the long term. So, do I have people in my TriVita business that are currently cross recruiting, indeed I do. I am well aware that even my powerful so called upline sponsor, is probably amongst the worst violators of ethics and good judgment, and cross recruits not only my downline, but has tried to do this on me on several occasions. Indeed, I feel that this is unethical, after all, I am making this person good money by my efforts. So I have to ask myself the burning question, why would they do this? Why would this person, who is making money from me, and my downline, try and pitch his latest and greatest money making scheme?

The very nature of MLM and network marketing is this approach to hop from one deal to the next. I have seen this many times, and over the last seven year period, every business that I have been involved in promoting, the same thing happens. This is old news to most of you who have been involved in some type of affiliate program. The grass always seems greener on the other side of the MLM fence. You take a person who is driven to cross recruit, will eventually fall prey to the corporate headquarters, and they will surely remove that person from the organization. I feel that this is poetic and well deserved justice. I have even been pitched on deals that were told would amplify my earnings. My upline has used this area of cross recruiting, and because of this, has been basically found out that they were not the legend of the networking business, that they perceived themselves to be within their own mind.

If you have stayed with this article long enough, you should be well aware that I do NOT condone cross recruiting of any kind. I am here to build my work at home TriVita business. I am here to write my work at home articles, and provide people with excellent information concerning working at home. I am NOT here to try to convince, coerce or sell anyone, on anything. I only offer benefits and solutions, and if you do not see the value here, then I say good luck in your current business. Who knows, this article about cross recruiting may even be found by my powerful upline sponsor. I really doubt it however, that this person believes in the old school network marketing approach of bringing in all your family and friends. This approach, in my mind, simply will not work, as you will soon find, those friends and family will do absolutely nothing to build your business. Most cross recruiters reall have an illness I believe, and should probably seek a new pill from another network marketing company that will solve their issues. They will probably have one of those in the very near fukture.

Who knows, I may even offer a cash reward if I find anyone pitching my downline on another great deal. I take great pride in the fact that my people, even though some are not seeing the kind of progress that they thought they would, at least are not getting pitched on another deal to join. I would never use this cross recruiting approach, as I certainly am no MLM junkie!

This process can be automated so that new files are downloaded automatically. Files are stored locally on the user's computer or other device ready for offline use, giving simple and convenient access to episodic content. Commonly used audio file formats are Ogg Vorbis and MP3.

Oh boy here I go again.

Thursday September 2nd. 2010 9:10 a.m. pst getting set up in my no walls work at home office. First things first stopping for a cup of java as I head outside with pen and pad in one hand grabbing my chair with the other hand searching for that perfect spot under the huge Oak tree to continue building my work at home business.

After several days of cloudy cooler weather and having to sit inside surrounded by those four walls one can really appreciate the beautiful blue sky and the warmth of the sunshine.

As I sit here knowing that tomorrow I will be mowing the three acres of lawn I better make it a productive work at home day. By the way I enjoy mowing the lawn I use one of those dual handle Torros, it is like driving a go cart. What a blast cruising around those trees. No Pushing!

I am lucky. I get to speak with an amazing amount of people in the work at home industry. I am able to discern, from their speech inflections, and their mannerisms on the phone, just how they are approaching this process called working in a home business. Many people struggle and strain in this industry. Many people are technically challenged on the computer. This is not to say that these folks are not intelligent, many times, the opposite is true. They seem to be motivated to wanting to change their lives, and they feel that Google is the best place to go for that. I would heartily agree, particularly in today's downward spiraling economic malaise. I do not care what you do, whether its building an offline business, or online, the process is much the same. From my perspective there are a couple of critical things that you should consider when choosing to build any type of business. I will go a little more into detail with this work at home article, and hopefully provide my faithful Google readers, with just a little more industry insight into the world of work at home business.

Location

Lets face the facts here. Without the right type of location, any business is doomed to fail. If you happen to be starting a small mom and pop hardware store, and your neighbor is Wal Mart, then you are probably in the wrong location. I read an interesting article from a guy who is supposed to know something about business and all that he basically said were three words. Location, location, location. I think that this sums up the whole ball of wax rather handily.

Location on Google is just as important. Since we work in a digital world, then obviously, we need to put our websites, which you should call your storefront, on a location where there is traffic, and people are earning for the goods and services that you are providing. If you do a good job of this, then your chances of making a sale, or at least being contacted by a lead, are relatively good. If your site is located on page 5000, then naturally, no one is going to see that site, and your chances are absolutely zero, towards making money from your latest and greatest widget work at home business.

Notice the similarities of offline and online businesses? There is no difference at all, except in the fact that we, in the work at home industry, work in a digital world. An information rich world of products, services and other necessary goods that we all need and use. This is the essence of trying to figure out how to make money from a work at home business model. When you begin to understand this process in great detail, you will learn that search engine optimization, or getting to the top of the Internet with your site, is one of the most important aspects of having success in that work at home business of yours.

Advertising

Advertising on Google is much like advertising any offline business. You have to get out your message about your products to people before you stand a chance at making sales. Internet advertising, and once again this is called search engine optimization, is the key ingredient in the process. Imagine if you will, a huge billboard on a major interstate highway. This billboard is seen by tens of thousands of people every day. Does and will, this billboard make the company sales? Indeed. The process of placing your advertising message using radio, TV and other sources is critical to an offline business. After all, if no one knows that you are in business, no matter how good your product is, you simply are not going to make sales, right?

Advertising on the Internet is the same thing. You are in the constant process of trying to place your site, your storefront, to a keyword phrase which people are searching for. Once again, this is called search engine optimization. I do not care what product, service or jungle juice that you promote, if you do not have people visiting that website, then you stand little, if any chance of making sales to anyone. Why is this? Well, your site gets pushed down to the bottom of the world wide web highway of digital trash. No one sees the site, and obviously no one cares about your product. There are many ways to promote an online business, but I can tell you for a fact that writing articles containing keyword specific information is one of the best ways. After all, you are reading this, right? Then obviously I have done my job in placing my information where you, my faithful Google reader has found it. Will you join my business, or fill out my contact form? Obviously, that remains to be seen, but in reality, I have done what I can do to promote my business. The rest is left up to the fates.

With either of these Systems, one will eventually make a sale. They just do not work well or efficiently.

From the prospects viewpoint, you do not have anything HE needs. You on the other need, or have the perception of needing, to make a sale. This is a very difficult situation to overcome, if you are in it.

Working at Home VS a Conventional Job

This morning, I wanted to delve a little more deeply into the work at home genre, and try to provide my Google reader with more insights into the advantages of building a stable work at home business model, versus having a conventional 9 to 5 job. The point to this article will be to unlock some of the mystery surrounding work at home jobs, and to provide solutions to those who are trying to improve their quality of life, and move away from the once thought of stable job mentality. I have done both, and for a fact, I can tell you that working at home is much better, much more creative and easier on the overall health and well being of myself, than working a day, or night job, ever was.

Job

A job is a regular thing performed to create a value in society and personality of individual for meeting the needs of that individual. A person usually begins a job by becoming an employee, volunteering, or starting a business. The duration of a job may range from an hour, in the case of odd jobs, to a lifetime. If a person is trained for a certain type of job, they may have a profession. The series of jobs a person holds in their life is their career. A job is something that we are taught to pursue from the earliest age. We have to work in order to earn money. This money will then be converted into the essentials of life such as food, rent, cars, clothes and all the other essential things that we need in order to exist on this planet today. A job is necessary, and everyone needs to work in order to live. Its just the way that society works.

A job can also be a very rewarding reason to live. Frankly, without purpose in life, there would be no reason to rise in the morning to greet the day. Even though many grumble at the thought of getting up and going to work, as any retired person may tell you, that one thing can literally mean the difference between feeling fulfilled, and simply having no reason to exist is that job. I have personally known many who talked about nothing but retiring, and being able to enjoy life for a change, wake to find themselves unemployed, and what they believed to be, unneeded, and simply wither away into obscurity. They got very old, very quickly, simply because they had no purpose in life. Conversely, I have seen very depressed people, who had worked for many years in a go nowhere and do nothing job, retire and simply bet better with age. As you and I know very well, its all about how we think, that governs our very existence on this planet.

Working at Home

Now we enter into yet another job, called a work at home business. Just like the conventional day job, a work at home job can become very lucrative, very creative and offer you many benefits and solutions that they day job could never provide. I find that working at home perfectly suits my mentality. I hate being told what to do, especially when I know that there is a better way to do it. In the work at home articles I have been writing lately, I have been attempting to give my Google readers with food for thought in regards to working at home. The one point that I should make is this. Working at home is no picnic. Any, and all work at home jobs will require knowledge, education, intuition, creativity and never quit attitude to build properly. Below, I will outline each word from above, to make the content much clearer.

Knowledge

Knowledge is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as expertise, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject; what is knowledge in a particular field or in total, facts and information, or awareness or familiarity gained by experience of a fact or situation. Philosophical debates in general start with Platos formulation of knowledge as justified true belief. There is however no single agreed definition of knowledge presently, nor any prospect of one, and there remain numerous competing theories. Knowledge acquisition involves complex cognitive processes: perception, learning, communication, association and reasoning. The term knowledge is also used to mean the confident understanding of a subject with the ability to use it for a specific purpose if appropriate.

Knowledge in terms of a work at home business would include learning how to approach the search engines with your information. Placing websites to top positions on Google is primarily one of the most important elements, and sadly, the most misunderstood element of any work at home business today.

Education

Education in the art and science of creating a profession profile on Google, learning how to properly approach the Internet with proper website alignment and properties, and learning the true ways of Internet marketing, are all part of education. Without it, you will probably fail in your work at home business. Becoming educated in work at home businesses is also one of the great aspects that is sadly neglected. People join a particular business, and then, what is to be done?

Intuition

Intuition is the ability to acquire knowledge without inference or the use of reason. The word intuition comes from the Latin word interim, which is often roughly translated as meaning to look inside or to contemplate. Intuition provides us with beliefs that we cannot necessarily justify. For this reason, it has been the subject of study in psychology, as well as a topic of interest in the supernatural. The right brain is popularly associated with intuitive processes such as aesthetic abilities. Some scientists have contended that intuition is associated with innovation in scientific discovery. Intuition is also a common subject of New Age writings.

Intuition can also be called visualization. Visualization, I believe, is one of the most necessary part of the artistic approach to marketing online. Indeed, if one visualizes the outcome of the work at home business, then that surely will happen. The problem is, and this is after talking and working with hundreds of people over the years, most of them lack the visualization that will lead them on an entirely new path towards their success. Creativity

Creativity is the ability to generate innovative ideas and manifest them from thought into reality. The process involves original thinking and then producing. Creatively learning how to tap into the ebb and flow of Google, learning how to write specific content for the spiders, and creatively building websites that are not only simple and effective, but also highly searchable by those spidering robots, is perhaps one of the most important elements in the overall performance of any business. Most work at home entrepreneurs come from conventional job backgrounds. In my opinion a real job just allows little creativity as your boss will do his level best to thwart your attempts at being a creative and positive human being. This leads to frustration, depression and that nagging feeling of being locked in a box. Work at home business is the cure for that problem. The Internet on Google lays at your feet, and you are only limited by your imagination and creativity to approach it.

Never Quit Attitude

This last element is possibly the most important part of developing a profitable work at home business model. I would seem that would be entrepreneurs are very susceptible to jump from one business to the next, searching far and wide for the next big launch of some product or service. Perhaps the enticement comes from an email from so called guru marketer. Maybe a site is found that tells the reader about the latest and greatest secret sauce to marketing a work at home business, and before you know it, they are hitting the I Submit button, and paying their money for the next latest and greatest deal found on the Internet today! This MLM Junkie attitude is seen far and wide in the work at home business. For my readers, please take notes. Join a business, stick with that business, never quit that business, and eventually, you will come out the winner. If you jump from one deal to the next, most often you will only lose your money, time, energy and your belief that working at home will work for you.

You may be putting in the time but have nothing to show for it. Why? Customers! I DO NOT try to turn leads into a customer, because I don't buy leads. I buy customers! Plain and simple, and I'll tell you again, I BUY CUSTOMERS! Is it starting to sink in? I hope you are starting to see the light. I hope you are seeing what it takes for a person with a work at home based business to survive. Customers! I hope you are starting to see that it makes more sense to buy customers, than to purchase leads.

I hope you are getting the picture about a Work At Home business. I hope you take a good look at your business, and see why you are not making money. If I was betting man, I would have to say that the reason your business is failing is because you do not have enough customers.

Eight YEARS Ago...
